I developed this app to keep track of all the aftershocks that have been hitting Canterbury and Christchurch since the 7.1 earthquake in the early hours of September 4th 2010.
As time passed and the aftershocks continued, I added more features and decided to publish it, and allow other people to use it.
The app maps the location, and if your device allows calculates the distance and direction to the epicenter.
The app comes preload with all the quakes in the Canterbury region since 2000, only new quakes need to be downloaded.

Bad app!
The app sometimes crashes and when you want to go quake map or the other options it doesnt work.
Works great in long run!
Ok, this app annoyed me at first. The program kept freezing so I assumed that it was crashing. It wasnt, when you first start it, it tries to download the earthquakes that have happened since its memory. I suggest to leave it on overnight to gain the information and then play around with it. It works really well and I am very happy with it.
